Practice on Thursday 3/26
In preparation for the weekend regatta we launched the men's eight and a mixed eight so coxswains can get experience in a strong crosswind. McKenzie and Emma also stayed in the backwater in the double.
In the evening there was a Zoom meeting with the regatta organizers. The weather forecast was discussed and it was decided to cancel all events that included middle schoolers, singles and novices. Since we don't have those events, the decision did not affect our lineups. Coach Jay and Coach Bousquet will discuss the conditions Saturday morning and make any needed adjustments. As of Thursday night we plan on entering a Men's eight, a Women's eight, a mixed eight, and a Men's four. Draft lineups will be promulgated Friday night.
