This weekend CHS Rowing competed at Robious Landing Park for the 21st annual James River Sprints Regatta. It was a beautiful, yet hot, day for rowing! The air temp reached 90 degrees by noon with an occasional light breeze. Our rowers raced in 4 events, WV4, W2ndV4, MV4, and MV8.
Congratulations are in order for our MV8 rowers & cox who won their heat, and placed 4th overall for this event. Great job rowers and coaches! After an already full day, much of our team attended the Prom at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. Coach Bousquet chaperoned and the traditional team picture was taken to round out the day.
